AI Usage Limits

Note: Why AI might stop working for a user.

🚦 Limit Tiers

• AppSumo Tier 1/2: 0 AI Requests (Feature Gated).
• AppSumo Tier 3: 50 requests/month.
• Individual: 200 requests/month.

🔓 The BYOK Bypass (Unlimited)

If a user provides their own API Key ("Bring Your Own Key") in Account Settings, they bypass ALL system limits. They pay OpenAI/Google directly.

🛑 Enforcement Logic

• Real-Time: Checks usage before every request.
• Lag: Usage tracking aggregation runs nightly, so there is a slight (24h) grace period where users might exceed limits before being blocked the next day.

📧 Notifications

• 80% Usage: Warning email sent.
• 100% Usage: Block email sent (with upsell to BYOK).
