Need Something Different?

If the templates above don't match your needs, select "Something else" and describe what you want to analyze. For example:

  • "I want to compare open rates across campaigns"
  • "I need to track unsubscribe trends"
  • "I want to analyze automation performance"

Scoop's AI will recommend the right configuration for your specific use case.

Snapshotting for Campaign Analysis

Campaign performance changes over time as recipients open and click emails. Configure your Campaigns extract as a Snapshot dataset to:

  • Track engagement growth after each send
  • Compare performance across send dates
  • Analyze how quickly engagement peaks
  • Monitor delayed opens and clicks

Pro Tip: Enable snapshotting for campaigns to see how engagement evolves over the first 48-72 hours after each send.

Connecting Mailchimp to Scoop

  1. Create a new dataset in Scoop

Getting Your API Key

  1. Log in to your Mailchimp account

Troubleshooting

Connection Issues

  • Verify your API key includes the datacenter suffix (e.g., -us6)
  • Check that the API key is active in your Mailchimp account
  • Ensure your Mailchimp account is in good standing

Missing Data

  • Campaign performance metrics require the campaign to be sent
  • Some metrics require specific Mailchimp plan features
  • Historical data may be limited by your plan

Datacenter

If you see connection errors:

  • Your datacenter is the suffix after the dash in your API key
  • Common datacenters: us1, us2, us6, us7, us12, etc.
  • Make sure you copied the entire API key including the suffix

Rate Limits

Mailchimp allows 10 concurrent connections:

  • Scoop automatically manages connection pooling
  • Large extracts may take longer during high usage
  • Contact support for persistent issues
