Automated Snapshotting of Google Sheets Data

Scoop can connect to Google sheets and grab data from either a sheet or a named range. This functionality allows you to use Google Sheets effectively as a database, while still allowing you to do powerful time series analysis based on that data. Scoop can snapshot your data in your Google Sheets table and, just like any other data source, enable full change and process analysis on Google Sheets data.

Google Sheets row limit is actually a limit of 10 million cells. The default Google Sheet opens with 26 columns labeled A through Z and a 384,615 row limit, which reaches the Google Sheets cell limit of 10,000,000 cells. Scoop stores data in an AWS backend and uses Google Sheets to query the data, so snapshots of Google Sheets stored in Scoop do not have the same data limitations.

Additionally, Scoop stores every snapshot so that each one can be downloaded from Scoop.
